Here’s a great long exposure photo by George Koultouridis over at 500px. It’s a view of Skogafoss that I have not seen before and absolutely love it. You can see more of George’s work on 500px.
Power and Humility by Stefan Mitterwallner
I could look at photos of Iceland all day long and never get tired of them. Especially this on by Stefan Mitterwallner over on 500px.

El Matador in Malibu
Located approximately 10 miles west of Malibu, you’ll find El Matador State Park. It is one of three “pocket beaches” that make up the Robert H. Meyer State Beach on this lovely stretch of the Pacific Coast Highway.
If you are in the Malibu area, I encourage to wait for a parking spot in the very limited parking lot of this beach, or park along the PCH and walk in. You won’t regret it whether you’re going to take photos like this one or if you are going to enjoy the beach.
For this particular photo, I set up my tripod and camera just off the path down to the beach. You really can’t miss it.
Long Exposure of Tenaya Lake in Yosemite
Here’s a long exposure photo that I took on a recent trip out to Yosemite National Park.
It’s a 27 second exposure that I calculated using Slower Shutter (get version 1.1 here). I used a development version of version 1.2 that gives you the option for an audible alert rather than just vibrating when the timer is done. I’ve got to say, I initially thought a vibrate feature alone would be all that was needed, but I really liked the audible alert option.
